Yesterday was my first day back at work after 7 days. I haven't had that much time off since I started working! All the staff at school seemed really happy to have me back and I got lots of hugs from my kiddos. What a warm feeling it is to know that you make some type of difference in life of a child even if it is just your presence. Luckily, only a few of my clients had problems while I was gone. I had a busy day, but it was nice to have something to do to pass the time.
I must take a minute to rave about the wonderful people I work with, both at Pinnacle Pointe and South Side Public School. You make me happy to come to work every day and I truly missed interacting and working with you every day. You make it very easy for me to do my job to the best of my ability and I love y'all very much! To all those who wanted to know how the surgery went and what our plans were next: this type of support is what keeps me going. Seriously. You and my God.
Saturday we will be going to Fayetteville to watch the #10 Arkansas Razorbacks play the #1 Alabama Crimson Tide. We are very excited. The atmosphere will be electric I'm sure. This is one of the biggest football games I've ever been to before! Besides when we beat Texas in the 2000 Cotton Bowl. I went with my granddad....best. game. ever. Hopefully, we'll have some nice FALL weather instead of the 90 degree mess we've been having this week. I'm not a big fan of sweating. Ha ha!
My friend had two embryos implanted yesterday, so please say prayers that her babies will implant and be healthy! You would not believe the amount of stress and anxiety something like this brings on...or maybe you would...prayers are our lifeline.
Love to you all!
