Neil and I just checked into the day surgery clinic at Baptist. Now the waiting begins. Surgery should begin around 7:30. Mom and my grandparents will be coming to keep us company in an hour.
I survived one day of apple sauce/jello and yesterday of only clear liquids. It was torture, but it's almost over.
I was so anxious about not waking up this morning that I was up at 2:30, 4:00, 4:15, 4:20, and finally got up at 4:30.
Luckily I have a feeling that I'll have plenty of opportunity to catch up on sleep during the next few days ;)
