Three Things Thursday

1) I do believe we have bought a house! We're going to sign the final contract today! I would show pictures, but some old people live in it right now so it's very difficult to overlook the the old furnishings. I am in love with the circle driveway, the 400 square foot brick storage building in the back and the awesome backyard that I can't wait to play in with our little one. So excited!!

2) We are headed to the lake with my parents and my brother and his girlfriend on Saturday. Neil had the audacity sweetness to suggest that I wear a bikini. Ha! In another lifetime maybe. But so sweet of him. I'll be rocking my tankini and hiding my stomach, but looking forward to getting some sun on my white body.

3) I was thoroughly cussed out like a dog yesterday by a client's father. Mind you, the client was a danger to the other students at school and needed to be hospitalized. Of course, people must think I get some kind of perverse joy out of sending these children to the psychiatric hospital or get paid extra for it. Never could be further from the truth...it's actually a lot more work! After I calmly explained that I would not talk to the father further until he stopped cussing and yelling at me (over the phone), he continued so I hung up on him and called the abuse hotline for medical neglect because the parents would not take him. Thank you karma. The parents were told by a DHS caseworker that they either took the child to the hospital or they would have charges filed against them. Guess what? They took him. Today I'm hoping they don't come to the school. Fingers crossed!
